Introduction

Hi, my name is John Ovies. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, who works with adult individuals as they navigate the difficulties that come up in life. I work to help people overcome trauma, grief, depression, anxiety and other life stressors. I use a variety of evidence based practices as I walk alongside people with patience and compassion. I am trained in EMDR, ACT, CBT and many other techniques. I also offer Christian counseling and prayer for those interested. I do this with no judgement or forcefulness, but I walk alongside you where you are at. For me it is an honor and a joy to see people find happiness again.
