Johnny has accompanied adolescents, adults, and couples – in schools and outpatient therapy settings – people often experiencing anxiety, depression, interpersonal difficulties, life transitions, grief, or a sense of feeling “stuck.” Beyond focusing on alleviating symptoms, holistic growth is promoted – increasing self-knowledge helps clients live more fully into what they deem a “life-worth-living.” Accordingly, the clinical approaches Johnny employs are evidenced-based and are largely: psychodynamic, meaning-oriented, narratively-structured, trauma/neuroscience-informed, and mindfully-grounded – with openness to cultural and spiritual conversations.
