Introduction

Hello, and welcome. My name is Johnthap Obakpolor, PMHNP-BC, with 15 years of experience in the medical field, including 5 years dedicated to psychiatry and mental health. If you’re struggling with focus, chronic overwhelm, mood instability, anxiety that won’t quiet down, insomnia, or feeling stuck despite trying everything—you're not alone. Many of my clients are high-functioning adults, professionals, and students who are tired of “pushing through” and ready for clarity and structure. As a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience, I understand how complex mental health can feel — especially when it impacts work, school, or relationships. Why wait another day? I specialize in comprehensive ADHD evaluations & treatment, anxiety disorders, depression, and substance use care. My approach goes beyond quick prescriptions. I provide thoughtful, thorough assessments and collaborative treatment plans tailored specifically to your goals. Most visits are conducted virtually for convenience, with limited in-person visits. At the heart of my practice is a belief that every person deserves to feel seen, understood, and supported. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can openly share your story, explore your struggles, and take meaningful steps toward healing and stability. If you’re ready to begin this journey, I’m honored to walk alongside you.
