Hi! I’m Jonathan, a sex and relationship therapist specializing in connection, communication, intimacy, sexuality, men’s issues, fatherhood, life transitions, including ethical non-monogamy. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, communication and intimacy concerns, parenting and family transitions, attachment patterns, masculinity, identity, and sexual well-being. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and relationship structures, including those practicing polyamory, open relationships, and other forms of consensual non-monogamy. My approach to therapy is warm, collaborative, and nonjudgmental. I believe a safe space should also be a brave space, one where you can explore difficult emotions, challenge old patterns, better understand yourself and your relationships, and create meaningful change at your own pace. I use an integrative, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive approach drawing from Attachment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and somatic approaches. I am also trained in EMDR and incorporate trauma-focused work when appropriate. Originally from Lima, Peru, I am fluent in English and Spanish and bring an understanding of how culture, identity, family expectations, and lived experience can intersect with relationships and emotional well-being. You don’t have to be in crisis to benefit from therapy. Therapy can be a space for greater self-awareness, stronger relationships, deeper intimacy, and personal growth. If you’re ready to begin, I invite you to reach out for a free 15-minute consultation to see if we’re a good fit.
