I'm a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) with about five years of experience, and I work with individuals, couples, and families via telehealth throughout Hawaiʻi. I find I work especially well with reflective adults and young adults who genuinely want to understand themselves more deeply, and with couples who are ready to strengthen their communication, rebuild trust, or reconnect emotionally. My approach is relational and insight-oriented. Rather than rushing to fix things, I listen carefully, reflect what I'm hearing, and help you notice patterns you might not have seen on your own. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy, attachment-based perspectives, and Gottman-informed couples work—but always in service of understanding you as a person, not just applying techniques. I work with anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and men's issues. If faith is important to you, I'm comfortable weaving Christian perspectives, Scripture, or conversations about spirituality into our work. That said, clients of all backgrounds are welcome; the role faith plays in your therapy is entirely up to you. I'm currently accepting new clients and offer a free 15-minute consultation so you can get a sense of whether we'd be a good fit. For individual counseling, I'm in-network with HMSA. I'd be honored to work with you.
