Introduction

Hi, I'm Jonathan Marr, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate and the owner of Guardian Grace Counseling & Consulting. My path into this work grew from years of serving in public safety, where I witnessed firsthand the weight that chronic stress, trauma, and high-pressure environments place on individuals and their families. Those experiences shaped my commitment to helping people strengthen resilience, find clarity, and reclaim balance in their lives. I provide counseling for adults navigating stress, trauma, anxiety, burnout, and significant life transitions, with a specialized focus on supporting first responders—including law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, telecommunicators, and other high-impact professionals. I understand the culture, the expectations, and the unspoken pressures, and I offer a space where you don't have to explain the job before you can start healing from it. My approach is compassionate, practical, and grounded in evidence-based strategies. I work collaboratively with clients to identify what's getting in the way, build healthier coping tools, and move toward meaningful, sustainable change. Whether you're carrying accumulated stress, feeling disconnected from yourself or others, or striving to rediscover purpose on and off duty, my goal is to help you move forward with strength and clarity. You deserve a place to pause, breathe, process, and grow—without judgment and at your own pace. I'm here to walk with you through that process. If you're ready to take the next step, I'm honored to support you.
