I am a clinical psychologist licensed in New York State and Florida. I offer practical and empathetic treatment to help reduce the often distressing and overwhelming effects of anxiety, intense emotions, and substance use on youth and their families. My goal is to build confidence, self-acceptance, and self-validation, while facilitating measurable progress towards therapeutic goals. We build a treatment plan together, so that clients feel understood and exercise agency over their personal growth. Many clients want to work with a clinician who is both knowledgeable and affirming of their identities. Throughout my career, I have enjoyed working with clients from a wide range of cultural and religious backgrounds, as well as sexual and gender identities. I look forward to learning about all aspects of each of my clients’ backgrounds. Prior to transitioning to private practice, I provided psychological care across a number of settings, including outpatient therapy, inpatient therapy, and emergency psychiatry. Most recently, I served as a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at the New York University (NYU) Langone Health Child Study Center (CSC). There, I co-founded the adolescent Substance Use Disorder (SUDs) program and was an active member of the comprehensive adolescent Dialectical Behavior Therapy program.
