As a psychologist with a background in philosophy and neuroscience, I have a strong interest in understanding human behavior, the human mind, and the human experience. Moreover, I enjoy connecting with people and helping them enhance their mental health and wellbeing. In my private practice, I provide a variety of psychological services, including consultation, psychodiagnostic assessment, individual psychotherapy, couple therapy, and psychological wellness and prevention services. I work with a wide range of psychological issues and disorders, including complex presentations. Additionally, I specialize in working with ADHD, anxiety, trauma, posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD), obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), and relationship issues. In my work with clients, I integrate a number of evidence-based treatments, including classical cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), while also drawing on psychoanalytic principles and processes. Treatment is delivered flexibly and is individualized based on each client's unique needs, goals, and preferences. Above all, I strive to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients, characterized by warmth, compassion, trust, and collaboration on treatment goals. I work primarily with older adolescents and adults and have substantial experience working with military veterans and active-duty service members. I offer services in person at my office in Mequon, Wisconsin, and remotely via video or telephone to locations in Wisconsin, New York, and any of the 43 PSYPACT participating states (https://psypact.gov/page/psypactmap).
