Have you ever felt caught between who you are now, who you want to be, and who you used to be? Maybe the stories you've told yourself, the roles you've taken on, or the ways you've learned to navigate the world no longer seem to fit. Or perhaps you're carrying something that others don't fully understand, and you're tired of trying to explain it. My approach to therapy is collaborative, person-centered, and experiential. I believe you are the expert on your own life, and my role isn't to tell you who to be or what your experiences should mean. Instead, we'll work together to make sense of your experiences, explore the parts of you that have learned to adapt or protect you, and understand how those patterns continue to shape your life today. Sometimes that means talking things through; other times, it means slowing down, noticing what's happening in your body, or exploring an experience from a different perspective. I work with teens and adults navigating life transitions, identity shifts, chronic illness (including POTS and chronic pain), ADHD, neurodivergence, grief, burnout, relationship challenges, and the many ways these experiences can affect our sense of self. I'm especially interested in the space between who we've had to be to get through life and who we want to become. You don't need to arrive with everything figured out. We can start wherever you are, with curiosity rather than judgment, and work toward a deeper understanding of yourself and what matters to you.
