Introduction

Finding a therapist can feel overwhelming, especially if you’re already carrying a lot. My goal is to offer a space that feels steady and genuine, where you don’t have to perform or explain yourself perfectly to be understood. I work with adults who feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or caught in patterns they don’t fully understand yet. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, identity questions, or major life transitions. Some appear to be “doing fine” on the outside while feeling exhausted or unsettled internally. My style is direct, deeply empathetic, and grounded in real connection. Therapy doesn’t have to feel sterile or scripted. I value honest conversation and collaboration, and I also believe in thoughtful challenge when growth calls for it. I’m not here to rush you toward quick answers. Therapy with me often involves slowing things down, understanding emotional patterns, and examining the beliefs that may be keeping you stuck without shame or judgment. I care about depth and meaning. We’ll explore not only what you’re feeling, but why and how your experiences, relationships, and values shape the way you move through the world. Therapy can be uncomfortable at times, but it should also feel steady, respectful, and supportive. I welcome clients from diverse backgrounds, identities, and all walks of life. Whether you’re navigating cultural experiences, relationship shifts, professional stress, personal loss, or questions about identity and direction, you are welcome here. I’m bilingual and provide therapy in both English and Spanish. I grew up in a small town in East Texas and earned my degrees in Psychology and Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I’ve worked in university settings, community mental health, and private practice. I currently provide psychotherapy via telehealth. Outside of work, I enjoy time with family and friends, traveling, good food, and spending time with my dogs. If you’re looking for a therapist who is thoughtful, honest, and steady, I’d be glad to connect.
