Introduction

Being human is both blessing and burden. What happens to us - changes us. Hurt hurts, and trauma traumatizes; that is what they do. Therapy, much like physical therapy, means learning to tend to what hurts with what heals. The best way to know if I am the right fit for you is to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. I am an integrative EMDR trained therapist grounded in an evidence-based, trauma-informed, philosophically oriented, REBT (Rational Emotive Behaviour Therapy) framework. We will look not just at your experiences, but at what you've learned from them. We'll do that work with both a playful curiosity and deep compassionate care for you, your story, and your values. I work with teens, adults, couples, and families to help them courageously and compassionately explore their concerns, navigate challenges, and build meaningful new relationships with themselves, their lives, and the world. I believe therapy should include safety, compassion, and relief, as well as honesty, effort, and even grief. I speak with a soft kindness about hard truths. Our work will be collaborative, creative, and always centered on what matters most to you. It takes courage to ask for help. I create a safe, compassionate, inclusive, and honest space for you to heal, learn, and wonder. I would be honored to work and wonder with you.
