Introduction

You may be looking for therapy because life has become a cycle of frustration, conflict, or simply trying to get through the day. Perhaps your teen is struggling with attention, impulsivity, anger, or feeling misunderstood. Or maybe you are an adult noticing how trauma, anxiety, intrusive thoughts, or long-standing patterns continue to affect your relationships and daily life. I work with teens ages 12 and older and adults who want to better understand what is happening beneath the surface and begin making meaningful changes. My approach combines practical support with space to explore the experiences that have shaped you. With ADHD and impulse-control concerns, we may focus on emotional regulation, self-awareness, structure, and realistic strategies that fit everyday life. When working with trauma, anxiety, or OCD, I help clients recognize patterns, strengthen coping skills, and respond to difficult thoughts and emotions in healthier ways. Challenges with focus, follow-through, or emotional reactions are not signs that you are lazy, difficult, or failing. Often, they reflect a nervous system under stress or skills that need to be developed differently. Therapy can offer a place to feel understood while building tools that create greater stability at home, at school, at work, and in relationships. Together, we can work toward helping you or your teen feel more capable, connected, and in control.
