Introduction

I'm a board-certified psychiatrist and psychoanalyst offering depth-oriented therapy and thoughtful psychiatric care to adults in Yarmouth, Maine, and by telehealth across Maine and New York. My approach is psychodynamic and attachment-focused, shaped by a five-year psychoanalytic training and informed by a mindfulness-based sensibility — I understand therapy as the heart of the work and medication as an adjunct to it, not a substitute for it. After training at Brown and practicing across nearly every clinical setting, from community mental health to partial hospital care, I've come to believe that lasting change happens through a sustained, attentive relationship. I also lead Wildpsych's distinctive group program, an ongoing psychodynamic therapy group that begins with a wilderness hike in Maine's mountains. If you're looking for thoughtful, in-depth work with someone who will hold your story closely, I'd welcome the chance to talk.
