Introduction

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and Advanced Alcohol and Drug Counselor (AADC) serving adults, adolescents, families, and couples in St. Maries and throughout North Idaho. I offer a calm, supportive space where people can slow down, feel heard, and work through challenges in a way that feels genuine and respectful. Life in rural communities like St. Maries brings both strong connection and real stressors—limited access to services, isolation, family responsibilities, and the expectation to push through quietly. I work with individuals, couples, and families who may feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck in patterns that no longer feel helpful. Therapy can be a place to set things down, make sense of what’s been building, and find steadier footing. My approach is collaborative, relational, and individualized. I draw from evidence-based modalities including EMDR, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Brainspotting, CBT, DBT skills, motivational interviewing, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness-based approaches. Sessions are tailored to the unique needs and goals of each person, couple, or family, and may shift over time as those needs change. I value warmth, honesty, and real connection in the therapy space. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use concerns, relationship strain, parenting challenges, or a major life transition, therapy can offer support, clarity, and meaningful change.
