Juanita Pate was born and raised in San Antonio, on the city’s west side, where her roots run deep. She is a widow and a proud mother of two strong, kind-hearted young adults. As a single mother, she came to know grief and loss intimately — and through that journey, she found an unexpected gift: healing that came from helping others heal.
