Introduction

About Me I am a psychotherapist and educator with extensive experience providing individual and couples therapy. I have worked with clients facing a wide range of challenges, helping them manage stress, anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, and major life transitions. My work focuses on understanding the root causes of difficulties and creating practical, personalized strategies for lasting change. Individual Therapy In individual therapy, I help clients explore their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors to understand patterns contributing to stress or relational challenges. We work together to develop effective coping strategies, build emotional resilience, and empower clients to make meaningful changes in their lives. Couples Therapy In couples therapy, I help partners rebuild connection, deepen understanding, and strengthen intimacy. Many couples experience cycles of miscommunication, conflict, or emotional distance. Therapy provides tools to break these patterns, develop effective communication skills, foster empathy, and navigate disagreements constructively. The goal is not only to resolve current issues but to strengthen the foundation of the relationship for long-term fulfillment. My Approach My approach combines empathy, active listening, practical guidance, and evidence-based strategies. I believe therapy is most effective when it is collaborative, tailored to the unique needs of each client, and focused on tangible outcomes. Clients leave sessions with practical tools they can apply in daily life to navigate stressors more effectively and improve their relationships. I also support clients through life transitions and major stressors, including grief, loss, career changes, parenting challenges, and other significant events. These transitions can be emotionally taxing, but therapy provides a structured space to process emotions, explore options, and build strategies for moving forward with clarity and confidence. EDUCATIONAL CONSULTATION College Admission & Planning I offer personalized support for high school and college students—including high-achieving students, those who need more guidance, and anyone in between—throughout the college admission process. I help students explore majors, build a balanced college list, strengthen resumes, prepare for interviews, and develop compelling college essays. My goal is to make the process clear, organized, and far less stressful for both students and parents. Academic Support & Student Success I work with students who face academic challenges as well as those who are academically strong but experience stress, anxiety, or pressure to perform at a high level. I help students manage stress, strengthen time-management and study habits, and build effective coping skills. When needed, I assist in identifying possible learning issues and provide recommendations for school accommodations and academic supports. I also help parents and students improve communication, set healthy expectations, and build stronger relationships that support both academic performance and emotional well-being. MY APPROACH My approach is engaging and collaborative, providing solution-focused sessions to help you progress toward your goals. I listen empathetically and provide practical advice to help you manage everyday challenges. Take the First Step Whether you are seeking support for personal growth, relationship improvement, or managing daily stress, my goal is to provide a safe, supportive, and collaborative environment. Clients come to therapy to be heard, understood, and empowered to create meaningful change. Through our work together, clients develop emotional resilience, strengthen relationships, and cultivate skills to handle challenges with confidence and balance. I offer a complimentary 15-minute consultation. Feel free to email me directly to schedule your consultation or ask any questions about my services. Taking this first step can provide clarity, reassurance, and direction, helping you move toward stronger relationships and personal growth.
