Introduction

Hi! I’m Julia (she/her), a LMFT-Associate and LPC-Associate, supervised by Ilyse Kennedy, LMFT-S, LPC-S. I intimately know and understand how confusing, overwhelming, and downright exhausting life can feel – especially when you're carrying stories that have weighed you down for years. Whether it's anxiety, perfectionism, identity questions, grief, trauma, or a big life transition, I want you to know: while no one can do the healing and inner work for you, you don’t have to hold it all alone. I specialize in supporting women, attachment wounds, identity, trauma, addiction recovery, life transitions, neurodivergence, emotional overwhelm, as well as couples navigating disconnection, mis-attunement, and relational trauma. My work is rooted in holistic, relational practices utilizing attachment-based, emotion-focused, strengths-based, and trauma-focused, while employing a social justice, feminist, and systematic framework. Overall, honoring how your lived experiences, culture, family, spirituality, roles, and identities shape your inner world. My goal isn’t just to help you cope, it’s to help you connect more deeply with who you are and what you need to thrive. I’m not a “blank slate” therapist and don’t believe therapy is not a one-size-fits-all. I show up as a real human who honors humor, warmth, and authenticity in the room. Clients often describe me as bubbly, grounding, and deeply affirming. I believe healing happens in relationship and the therapeutic bond we create together matters. Whether we’re meeting virtually across Texas or in-person here in Austin, I aim to build a space that feels safe, rooted, and empowering. The truth is – you deserve to be seen. All of you. Even the parts you’ve been told are too much, too sensitive, too uncertain, too late. Every piece is important to your story and how you show up more authentically. You don’t have to have it all figured out. You just have to be willing to show up. If you’re curious or simply ready to try something different - I’m here. Let’s explore together what healing, change, and connection might look like for you.
