Introduction

I'm Dr. Julia Catlin, a psychotherapist specializing in attachment patterns and rejection sensitivity in adults. My doctoral research explored how reflective functioning, the ability to understand your own and others' mental states, protects against relationship anxiety and rejection patterns. I work with individuals, couples, and families using attachment-informed, psychoanalytic, and somatic approaches grounded in research. I provide telehealth throughout Nevada and Virginia, and I believe therapy should help you understand yourself more deeply and create lasting change.
