Introduction

Hi, I’m Julia, and I am so glad you’re here. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the state of Connecticut. I have experience in a wide variety of settings from School Social Work, Partial Hospitalization/ Intensive Outpatient Programs, to Outpatient Therapy. I work with individuals ages 18 and up. As an openly LGBTQIA+ clinician, I bring a personal understanding of the complexities and resilience within our community. I aim to create a space where clients feel safe to explore their identities, heal from past experiences, and build meaningful, authentic lives. Being out allows me to show up fully and connect with clients through shared understanding and trust. Therapy with me is collaborative and grounded in trust. I’ll meet you with curiosity, kindness, and zero judgment. We’ll work together to understand your experiences and build tools that feel doable, not overwhelming. I enjoy incorporating DBT, mindfulness, and expressive therapies into my sessions, but most of all, I center our sessions around you. What you’re feeling, what matters to you, and what helps you move forward. It’s a privilege to witness the resilience of my clients, and it would be an honor to work with you. My style is clinically grounded, but also human. Humor is welcome. So is complexity. My goal is to help you not just understand your patterns, but actually shift them in ways that feel safe, meaningful, and lasting. It’s a privilege to witness the resilience of my clients, and it would be an honor to work with you.
