Introduction

I specialize in working with folks navigating current high stress incidents and past trauma from childhood and adult life. I have a particular specialty in working with international professionals working in high stress, high threat settings (international aide workers, journalists, medical & mental health professionals, activists, etc). I worked overseas for a decade and understand the unique stress of international life. If you are processing a recent traumatic incident or seeking a holistic process to integrate and move on from childhood or adult trauma, we may be a right therapeutic fit. I mainly use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for holistic whole-life review, processing, and healing. I incorporate elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I offer EMDR Intensives - extended 3-6hr sessions that provide a concentrated approach and accelerated progress towards trauma integration. My office is located in the heart of Washington, DC near Dupont Circle. I offer in-person sessions in DC and online sessions for anyone in DC, Virginia, and New York. Any time you are ready, I'm here to help you heal old wounds so that you can live with vitality and build the life you want. Please call or email for a complimentary 15-min Consultation Call by phone.
