JULIANNE CANTWELL, MS, LPC Julianne Cantwell is a Licensed Professional Counselor with a Master of Science in Counseling from Southern Methodist University where she specialized in Clinical Mental Health. She received a Bachelor of Science in Education and Master of Science in Higher Education from Texas A&M University. Before entering the mental health field, Julianne worked in higher education, working in student affairs and providing career counseling at the university level. Julianne has a collaborative therapeutic style and primarily works from a client-centered and psychodynamic approach. Julianne enjoys working with adults with concerns related to self-esteem, anxiety, perfectionism, relationships, life transitions, and women’s issues. She also specializes in working with college students and career counseling as well as religious trauma and spiritual abuse. Julianne has a special interest in helping individuals who are navigating complex and adverse religious experiences. She is trained in the treatment and prevention of religious trauma and spiritual abuse through SMU, PESI, and The Reclamation Collective. In addition to her love for helping others, Julianne enjoys creative projects, music, and reading. She and her husband live in Dallas with their two dogs, Winston and Ollie. Together, they love traveling, being outdoors, and spending time with their adult children.
