Hi! I'm glad you're taking this step. I'm here because I am dedicated to creating an inclusive and affirming space for individuals navigating life and all it presents. My approach is rooted in a deep commitment to understanding and embracing each person as a complex human being. I am a career-changer whose previous life was in non-profit arts. I come from a family and community of diverse neurotypes, including but not limited to adhd, autism spectrum, giftedness (2E), PDA and alexithymia. When everyone in your family is wired differently there is so much room for misunderstanding and confusion... but also learning and growth. The realization that comes after a child is diagnosed or another family member identifies their differences can be disorienting. The feelings that can come with the thought, "but I was just like that as a child" can be complicated. Whether formally, late diagnosed or self-diagnosed, we will create a safe place to process and explore your current needs. While this brief intro is focused on neurodiversity, I see all clients and meet them where they are on their therapy journey. Our goal is not to "fix" what makes you different, but to allow you to figure out the right tools to build the life and relationships you are seeking. I will work collaboratively with you to make progress on the goals you identify.
