Psychologist Julie E. Balzano, Ph.D.
Specialties: Anxiety, Depression, Sleep or Insomnia, Life Transitions, Relationship Issues,

Introduction

Life can feel overwhelming. It is helpful to have a safe space for reflection, support, exploration, healing, and skill building. I am a licensed psychologist devoted to helping people manage a variety of challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress, life transitions, relationship issues, and physical health struggles. I also have specialized training in time-limited cognitive behavioral treatments for insomnia, chronic pain, and smoking cessation. I believe the therapeutic relationship is essential to treatment success. We will work together to understand your experience, what has brought you to treatment, and to create meaningful goals to help you lead a more fulfilling value-driven life. I earned my PhD from Fordham University in 2012 and completed my doctoral internship in Clinical & Community Psychology at Yale School of Medicine. I utilize evidence-based collaborative treatment approaches within both long and short-term frameworks, based on your needs/goals, and have experience in a variety of mental health settings. I encourage you to please reach out for an initial conversation to determine if we might work well together. I look forward to hearing from you.
