Introduction

Julie Bergman, PMHNP, is a highly qualified psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner with more than 20 years of professional experience. As the founder and owner of GRACE MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, INC, in Folsom, California, Julie’s primary goal is to help her patients reach their full potential physically, mentally, and emotionally to create the lives they have always wanted. Julie started her medical career serving in the U.S. Army. After graduating from Pacific Lutheran University (PLU) in Parkland, Washington, with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing in 2001, she returned to school for her Master of Science in Nursing Administration. Julie graduated from the University of Phoenix in 2009 with her nursing administration degree. Later, she earned her adult nurse practitioner degree from Maryville University in St. Louis, Missouri. Today, she also holds professional certification as an adult geriatric nurse practitioner and a mental health nurse practitioner. Since obtaining her psychiatric-mental health nurse practitioner certificate (PMHNP) in 2020, Julie has treated patients at GRACE MENTAL HEALTH RESOURCES, INC. Julie’s dedication to providing comprehensive care allows her to get to know her patients and establish individualized treatments, such as behavioral health counseling and medication management. Julie provides treatment for a variety of conditions, including depression, anxiety, and attention-deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). In addition to offering all-inclusive mental health treatment, Julie provides life coaching. Outside of work, she loves to spend time outdoors, running, hiking, biking, swimming, and kayaking.
