Introduction

Hi, I’m Julie Foshay, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and founder of The Relationship Studio in Eugene, Oregon. Long before becoming a therapist, I spent years working with women and families as a labor and delivery nurse and later with youth and families experiencing some of life’s hardest moments. Those experiences continue to shape the way I approach therapy today. I work with individuals and couples navigating relationship struggles, childhood trauma, motherhood, major life changes, and those moments when you realize the life or relationship that used to work just isn’t working anymore. I also work with couples who love each other but feel disconnected, stuck in the same arguments, or are trying to figure out whether they want to stay together. Therapy with me is warm, collaborative, and real. I don’t believe you are a collection of symptoms that needs to be fixed. I’m interested in understanding your story, the relationships and experiences that have shaped you, and the patterns that may no longer be serving you. We’ll make room for hard conversations, curiosity, growth, laughter, and probably an occasional swear word. My goal is for you to feel genuinely seen and understood while also being challenged to create meaningful change in your life and relationships.
