Introduction

Welcome! I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Idaho and Louisiana, Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC), Consultant and Coach, I am also a certified Child Centered Play Therapist. I am able to work with clients from Idaho (in-person and virtual), and Louisiana (virtual only). I am committed to helping clients feel their best, find balance and peace in their life. Whatever your goal for counseling, I am here to support, and provide a compassionate, safe place for you to land. I have 10+ years experience working with children, teens and adults. The majority of my years have been spent in a school setting, assisting families and students navigate family transitions, anxiety, grief, stress relief and more. I work from a humanistic, and Person-Centered perspective. I use a variety of modalities: including narrative therapy, talk therapy, Child Centered Play therapy, art and sand tray therapies. My goal is to tailor my approach to your needs. Contact me for a free consultation session, and we can determine if we are a good fit. I look forward to hearing from you, feel free to reach out with questions. julie@jmhtherapy.com. *I am able to take the following insurances: Regence, Blue Cross, United Healthcare, BPA Health, SelectHealth, I also offer sliding scale and private pay. *More info: https://tinyurl.com/JMHCounseling NEW: GROUP for Teen/PreTeen Anxiety support/coping skills starting Tuesdays @ 3:30pm, in September.
