Introduction

Julie Klecker, LPC, LCMHC Julie Klecker is a licensed professional counselor with over 30 years of experience helping adults (18+) navigate emotional, relational, and spiritual challenges. Before entering the counseling profession, Julie served in the United States Navy as a Chinese Linguist and Cryptologist—an experience that shaped her deep respect for service, discipline, and cultural insight. As a veteran herself, Julie has a strong passion for working with combat veterans, law enforcement officers, firefighters, EMS personnel, and other first responders. She understands the unique challenges faced by those in high-stress, high-responsibility roles and offers a space of safety, confidentiality, and compassion. Her work includes supporting clients with post-traumatic stress, moral injury, critical incident stress, relational strain, and identity shifts following years of service. In addition to her clinical practice, Julie serves through Artizo Ministries, where she provides faith-integrated counseling to those seeking Christ-centered healing. For clients who request it, she incorporates biblical truth, prayer, and spiritual insight into the therapeutic process—always respecting individual beliefs and preferences. Julie works with individuals experiencing: Depression and anxiety Low self-worth and confidence struggles Trauma related to abuse, betrayal, or service-related experiences Toxic relationships and emotional manipulation Chronic stress and compassion fatigue Her eclectic, strengths-based approach draws from: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Adlerian and psychodynamic therapies Person-Centered Counseling Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Trauma-informed care and psychoeducation Grounding, mindfulness, and guided imagery Assertiveness and boundary training Julie offers telehealth-only sessions, allowing clients convenient and private access to care. She creates a grace-filled environment where people feel seen, heard, and empowered to heal. With a deep commitment to honoring the service of others, Julie walks alongside clients on their journey toward restoration, resilience, and renewed purpose.
