Introduction

Hello, I’m Julie Kyle, founder of The Chicago EMDR Center (Chicago EMDR). I am an EMDRIA-certified EMDR therapist, EMDRIA Approved Consultant, and serve as a Training Facilitator and Logistics Producer for the EMDR Institute. I offer EMDR therapy in Chicago and throughout Illinois via telehealth, providing care that is grounded in both evidence-based practice and genuine human connection. Alongside traditional EMDR therapy, I integrate relational and attachment-informed approaches to support deeper healing, safety, and connection. While EMDR is highly effective in treating trauma, PTSD, anxiety, and depression, I also use it to help clients work through limiting beliefs, strengthen self-understanding, and create more meaningful and fulfilling lives and relationships. At the heart of my work is a belief in transformation—supporting clients as they move through painful experiences toward greater resilience, clarity, and possibility. I also deeply value supporting other clinicians in their growth. Through consultation, I work with both new and experienced EMDR therapists to help them build confidence, deepen their clinical work, and feel supported in their professional journey. I welcome the opportunity to connect and explore how we can work together in support of your healing or professional goals.
