Julie Rund is dual-licensed as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Registered Art Therapist (ATR). She works with children, teens, and adults via telehealth. She has successfully treated depression, anxiety, bipolar, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, and other diagnoses. Ms. Rund has worked the majority of her career in the residential level of care, where she honed her specialization in the treatment of eating disorders with a Health At Every Size (HAES) approach. Ms. Rund prefers to draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Humanistic Art Therapy styles in her work with clients. Concrete tools and solutions are an essential part of her work and the emotional and mental components of the healing and growth process. She utilizes this transparent person-centered approach to encourage clients of all ages in a non-judgmental, open environment. Ms. Rund received her undergraduate degree from Franklin College in Franklin, Indiana. She earned her graduate degree in Art Therapy with a Specialization in Counseling from Seton Hill University in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.
