Hey there! I’m Julie (LCMHCA, NCC), and I’m passionate about helping people break free from anxiety and OCD so they can build lives that feel full, meaningful, and authentic. If anxiety has you constantly overthinking, avoiding, second-guessing yourself, or feeling stuck in a cycle of worry, you're not alone. If OCD has you trapped in relentless loops of intrusive thoughts, fear, doubt, and compulsions, you may feel exhausted by the constant battle happening in your mind. Even when you desperately want relief, it can be hard to know where to begin. That’s where therapy can help. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where we’ll work together to understand what you're experiencing and create a path toward lasting change. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders and OCD using Exposure Therapy and Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), the gold-standard treatments for OCD and many anxiety-related concerns. Together, we’ll gradually face the fears that have been keeping you stuck, strengthen your ability to tolerate uncertainty, and help you reconnect with the parts of life that anxiety and OCD may have taken from you. I will partner with you to help you build a life that is guided by your values rather than fear. My style is warm, approachable, and genuine. I believe therapy works best when you feel comfortable showing up as your authentic self. Expect a therapist who isn’t afraid to laugh, occasionally references pop culture, and shows up as a real person. While our work may include moments of humor, I’m deeply committed to helping you create meaningful, evidence-based change. In addition to Exposure Therapy and ERP, I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), and Person-Centered Therapy. This allows me to tailor treatment to your unique needs while also supporting co-occurring mental health concerns. My approach focuses on building resilience, psychological flexibility, self-compassion, and confidence in your ability to navigate life’s challenges. Creating a welcoming, affirming, and inclusive space is deeply important to me. I proudly support the LGBTQIA2S+ community, practice from a neurodiversity-affirming perspective, and honor the unique identities, cultures, backgrounds, and faith traditions that shape each person’s story. I invite you to schedule a free 20-minute consultation. We can talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, answer any questions you may have, and see whether we’re a good fit. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and support you on your journey. “We can do hard things.” -Glennon Doyle
