Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and have been working in mental health since 2020. I am a dedicated and compassionate therapist and have worked with clients of diverse abilities, cultures, religions, sexual orientations, and gender identities. I have experience working with young adults, adults, and seniors and have addressed a wide range of mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, ADHD, Bipolar Disorder, identity issues, chronic illness, sociocultural stress, and trauma. I am a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional and specialize in the treatment of PTSD, C-PTSD, sexual assault, domestic violence, and other traumatic events. I also have a strong passion for working with first-generation clients and supporting individuals navigating life transitions, such as adjusting to living in a new place or country. I draw from a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Trauma-Focused CBT (TF-CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), psychodynamic theory, multicultural counseling, and feminist theory. I believe that every client is unique and deserves access to individualized and integrative approaches to healing. I highly value working with a diverse clientele, and I am committed to treating every client with respect, empathy, and compassion. I provide a calming and nonjudgmental space where clients can feel safe to share openly and be vulnerable. I would be honored to walk alongside you on your personal healing journey. Please contact me at julie@mindfultherapywellness.com if you would like to schedule an appointment.
