Introduction

Therapy that helps teens, young adults, and parents feel steadier, more confident, and more at ease at home. I'm Dr. Justin Bush, PhD, a licensed psychologist based in the Portland, OR and Seattle, WA metro areas, serving families across Oregon and Washington by secure telehealth. I work with adolescents and young adults navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, low mood, perfectionism, and the everyday stress of school and growing up—and with parents who want practical tools for supporting a struggling kid, managing behavior challenges, or easing high-conflict patterns at home. I also help student-athletes build the mental skills to perform under pressure without burning out. My approach is warm, practical, and skills-focused. Drawing on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), DBT-informed strategies, mindfulness, and a strengths-based lens, I help clients turn insight into real change—coping skills you can use between sessions, not just talk. Whether we're working one-on-one, in parent consultation, or as a family, the goal is the same: help you feel more in control and more like yourself. Sessions are held over secure video, so you can get support from anywhere in Oregon or Washington—no commute, no waiting room. If it feels like the right fit, you can request a free consultation or book directly through my online calendar. I'd be glad to hear what's bringing you in.
