Introduction

Hello, I’m Justin Richards, a licensed therapist with a diverse background in social services and mental health. Since 2014, I’ve been committed to helping individuals and families navigate life’s challenges with dignity, resilience, and hope. I hold a Master of Science in Psychological Counseling from Nicholls State University and a Master of Science in Psychology from Walden University. My professional experience spans child protection and child support services, severe and persistent mental illness, forensic populations—including individuals found not guilty by reason of insanity—as well as substance use treatment and mental health care for children and adolescents. I provide telehealth therapy to clients across Texas and Florida, making high‑quality mental health care accessible and convenient. My approach is evidence‑based, trauma‑informed, and strengths‑focused, carefully tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals. I believe therapy is most effective when clients feel safe, heard, and empowered, and I strive to create a collaborative space where lasting change can occur. Whether you are seeking support for yourself, your family, or professional case consultation, I welcome the opportunity to partner with you on your path toward healing, recovery, and personal growth.
