Introduction

Before I was a therapist, I served six years in the U.S. Army until a medical retirement. That path led me to social work, and I've spent my career walking alongside people through some of the hardest parts of life: veterans facing housing insecurity, patients navigating dialysis and organ transplant, individuals and families working through substance use, LGBTQ+ working toward a better inner self, couples working toward stronger connection, and parents building their skills and confidence. I earned my Master of Social Work from the University of Texas at San Antonio, and today I provide individual and group therapy through my practice, Prometheus Rises.
