Justin earned his undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Wyoming. His clinical experience includes working with individuals facing grief, depression, anxiety, ADHD, trauma, and family challenges. Whether clients are navigating life transitions, struggling with difficult emotions, or seeking clarity in relationships, Justin is committed to helping them discover their strengths and develop meaningful strategies for change. As a former EMT, Justin understands firsthand the pressures and cumulative stress that first responders and medical professionals carry. This experience informs his work with first responder populations, allowing him to provide a grounded, empathetic space where clients feel understood without having to explain the realities of their work. EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a core part of Justin’s therapeutic approach. He integrates EMDR into treatment when appropriate to help clients process distressing memories, reduce emotional reactivity, and foster adaptive coping. In practice, this means blending EMDR with collaborative talk therapy, ensuring clients feel supported, prepared, and empowered at each step of the process. Therapy with Justin is a collaborative, tailored experience rooted in respect and curiosity. He considers it an honor to walk alongside individuals—including first responders and those who support them—who are ready to take the next step in their healing journey.
