Do you feel like you continuosly enter the same relationship where you can’t seem to express your needs and feelings and prioritize your partner over yourself? Maybe you feel unfulfilled at work because you never feel “good enough” despite all your best efforts and can never really get what you want? It may also feel like hobbies and valued-activities feel like they are on the back-burner because you are always giving so much to others. Do you have a tendency to feel like your past traumas (where your needs were neglected, dismissed, or invalidated) still feel present and seem to make you feel small? If you relate to any of this, you may feel burnt out, unsatisfied and anxious in relationships, you may have been labeled as a “people pleaser”, “worry wart” or “perfectionist”. I can help you get “unstuck” from these fears and traumas. I help perfectionists and people-pleasers find their voice, challenge fears, and break unhealthy patterns from the past to create a values-based life where they can learn to accept uncertainty and doubt and thrive in healthy and balanced relationships. I am an LPC based in Oregon currently working with adults on Telehealth. I identify as a queer, cisgender woman. Many of my clients identify as queer and I also enjoy helping clients through identity exploration and processing trauma unique to queer-identifying individuals. I specialize in EMDR, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Exposure and Response Prevention. Through a mix of somatic, mindfulness-based, and behavioral approaches, I believe that therapy isn't "one size fits all" and I greatly prioritize tailoring my approaches to your individual needs and experiences. My goal is to work very collaboratively and view you as an individual with unique experiences as I guide you towards growth, self-discovery, and re-writing your narrative. Please reach out for a free consultation call if you think we may be a good fit! I look forward to meeting with you!
