Justyna Alegoz, LCPC, CAMS-I, PMH-C "Successful therapy is not about doing something for our clients, but rather being someone for them.” I believe that meaningful change happens in a safe and supportive relationship. I’m a bilingual Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 10 years of experience in the mental health and substance use fields. I’m certified in both anger management and perinatal mental health, and I’m passionate about helping individuals heal, grow, and thrive. I earned my Master of Arts in Community Counseling from Northeastern Illinois University. During my clinical training, I received extensive experience in substance use treatment and have since provided therapy in individual, family, and group settings. I have also worked extensively with clients struggling with anger and offer evidence-based tools to help manage and express it in healthy ways. Over the past five years, I’ve focused on supporting women navigating perinatal mental health challenges, including postpartum depression and anxiety. I completed advanced training with Postpartum Support International and have held certification in Perinatal Mental Health (PMH-C) since 2021. As a first-generation immigrant from Poland, I understand the challenges that come with adjusting to a new culture. I offer support to clients navigating acculturation stress, identity issues, and cultural differences with compassion and cultural sensitivity. I view each person as unique and deserving of care that honors their story. In therapy, I create a nonjudgmental space where you can feel safe, seen, and supported. Together, we’ll explore your goals and work toward lasting change at your pace. If you’re looking for a place to reflect, grow, and reconnect with your strengths, I’d be honored to walk alongside you on your journey.
