Everyone struggles to cope with difficult life circumstances at some point in their life and I believe that everyone deserves safe, supportive, and empowering care in those moments of struggle. My name is Kaitlyn Gray and I am a Licensed Certified Social Worker in central Mississippi. My passion for mental health was ignited early in life when my own mental health journey began in adolescence. I know firsthand just how hard it can be to cope with the difficult circumstances that life throws at us. My therapeutic perspective is informed by my own lived experiences with mental health issues. My role as a therapist is to walk with you on your healing journey, provide an outside perspective, and empower you to learn more about mental health so you can gain the tools you need to take care of yourself. Therapy looks different for everyone because everyone has their own unique experiences and perspectives. I aim to respect those differences through a person- centered and collaborative approach. My goal is to provide a safe and nonjudgmental space for you to explore your needs and personal strengths to empower you to meet your identified mental health goals. I have experience working with trauma, grief, depression, anxiety, substance use, homelessness, and incarceration. I also have a passion for working with neurodivergent people and the lgbtq+ community.
