Introduction

Hi, my name is Dr. Kaitlyn Richard, and I am a Provisionally Licensed Psychologist from Labadieville, Louisiana, working under the licensed supervision of Dr. Shay Burns, Psy.D. I am a first-generation graduate who obtained my doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in primary care psychology & behavioral medicine from Adler University in Chicago, IL. I am a native of south Louisiana with deep passion for providing mental health services to our beautiful, growing community! I see clients across the lifespan, with a particular interest in Women's Health, Maternal Mental Health, Self-Esteem, Life Transitions, Trauma, Depression, Anxiety, Grief & Bereavement, and Relationship Concerns. I take a holistic, relational approach when working with you to foster creative, individualized treatment to best meet your needs. I offer comprehensive psychological testing services, as well as individual, couples, family, and group therapy. Outside of my clinical work, I enjoy spending time with friends, family, and traveling.
