Introduction

At Liminal Women’s Psychiatry & Wellness, care is centered on women navigating periods of transition—times when emotional, cognitive, and physical changes can feel unsettling or difficult to name. Hormonal shifts, life role changes, and evolving identities often intersect, and many women find themselves feeling unlike themselves, unheard, or unsure of what support they need. Our approach is collaborative, unhurried, and evidence-based. We take the time to understand the full picture, recognizing that mental health symptoms during perimenopause, menopause, and midlife are rarely one-dimensional. Treatment plans are thoughtfully individualized, guided by each woman’s symptoms, values, life stage, and long-term wellbeing. Liminal exists to provide steadiness during change—offering psychiatric care that is grounded, respectful, and attentive. Our goal is to support women as they regain clarity, emotional balance, and confidence, without rushing the process or minimizing their experience.
