Finding the right counselor for yourself or your child can feel like a big step. I want counseling to feel comfortable, genuine, and tailored to the person sitting in front of me. I work with children, teens, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, stress, self-esteem, school challenges, relationships, life transitions, and big emotions. With children, I use creative, hands-on, and play-based activities because play is the language of children. Through play, children can often show us what they are feeling and experiencing before they have the words to explain it. With teens and young adults, I focus on creating a space where they can talk openly, feel heard, and work through what they are experiencing without feeling judged or pressured. As an LPC Associate, I practice under the supervision of Meredith A. Ivey, M.Ed., LPC-S, RPT-S. My goal is to meet each person where they are and work together to build understanding, confidence, and tools that can help them navigate what comes next.
