Introduction

Kambri became a clinician because she wanted to help people feel less alone in the difficult parts of life. She believes that even when someone feels stuck or overwhelmed, healing, relief, and greater freedom are possible. Some of her favorite moments in therapy are the “aha” moments—when clients begin connecting experiences from their past with patterns in their present and can finally see a different path forward. Kambri works with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma and PTSD, grief and loss, life transitions, and relationship concerns. She also works with couples. Her approach incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), and EMDR, with particular interest in exploring family-of-origin experiences and how earlier relationships can continue to influence current thoughts, behaviors, and relationships. Kambri describes her style as being “in your corner.” She is down-to-earth, collaborative, and encouraging while still challenging clients to do the difficult work that creates meaningful change. She does not see herself as sitting above her clients—she wants them to feel like she is willing to get into the dirt with them, understand what is happening, and help navigate a way forward together.
