Hello, I’m Kandi. If you’re here, chances are something in your life feels heavy, confusing, or out of balance and you’re ready for change, even if you’re not sure what that looks like yet. I became a therapist because I’ve always been deeply curious about people, their stories, their pain, and their resilience. Growing up, I noticed how often emotional wounds went unspoken and how many people learned to “push through” instead of heal. Therapy felt like a way to offer something different: a space where nothing has to be minimized, rushed, or carried alone. I specialize in working with individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, and major life stressors. Many of my clients appear high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed, disconnected, or stuck internally. I also work with people who notice past experiences showing up in their bodies, health, or relationships sometimes without clear answers as to why. My approach is compassionate, structured, and grounded. I use evidence-based therapies such as EMDR and CBT to help clients understand how past experiences shape present reactions and to gently shift patterns that no longer serve them. Sessions are collaborative and paced with care. There is room for honesty, reflection, and even moments of silence as we make sense of what your mind and body have been holding. Clients often share that therapy helps them feel calmer, more confident, and more connected to themselves and to others. Over time, the goal is not just symptom relief, but greater self-trust, emotional clarity, and the ability to move through life with more ease and intention. If you’re looking for a therapist who offers a steady presence, thoughtful guidance, and practical tools for lasting change, I’d be honored to walk alongside you.
