She earned her Master of Education (M.Ed.) in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Malone University and also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Kent State University and a Master of Arts in Forensic Psychology from Northcentral University. Kara has extensive experience providing counseling in both community mental health and outpatient settings, where she has helped clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, stress, self-esteem concerns, anger management, adjustment difficulties, and post-traumatic stress disorder. She is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), allowing her to tailor treatment to meet each client's unique needs and goals.
