Introduction

Dr. Kara Moscovitz is a Licensed Psychologist in Washington State and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist. Dr. Moscovitz works collaboratively with each client to identify goals for treatment, to discover their strengths, and to learn tools to manage emotions, improve relationships, communicate more effectively, and to live their best life with more acceptance and lasting change. Dr. Moscovitz also conducts comprehensive psychoeducational assessments to evaluate AD/HD, specific learning disorders, emotional/psychiatric disorders, and giftedness, and assists families seeking support for their children’s unique educational needs. She has expertise in facilitating interactive parenting workshops and individual parenting consultations within a collaborative problem-solving framework, as well as evidence-based treatments for parenting children with Anxiety and AD/HD (Supportive Parenting for Anxious Childhood Emotions-SPACE; Reflective Parenting; Positive Discipline). Dr. Moscovitz believes that everyone can benefit from counseling with a skilled and caring professional.
