Hello, my name is Kara. I am a therapist specializing in mindfulness and ecotherapy with over a decade of experience working with people of all ages and walks of life. My approach is grounded in attachment, compassion, creativity, and somatic awareness. I offer an inclusive and affirming presence to those facing anxiety, loss, uncertainty, and disconnection, in the midst of these times. In the course of our time together, we may engage in mindfulness practices to root you back in the present moment and the mind-body connection, explore attachment relationships as they relate to current patterns, or seek the support and grounding of the natural world through in-office or outdoor nature practices. These dialogues and practices have the potential to awaken more vitality, joy, calm, self-worth, and dignity, along with a sense of compassion and belonging with self, others, and the larger world.
