Hi, I’m Karie Rose, a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Idaho and a Nationally Certified School Psychologist (NCSP). I earned both my Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and my Master of Science in Counseling with a specialization in School Psychology from California State University, Northridge. After taking a 20-year break to raise and educate my family, I returned to the field with renewed passion and purpose, earning my current licensure and certifications. With a heart for service and a strong foundation in my Christian faith, I’m dedicated to walking alongside children, teens, parents, and groups as they navigate life’s challenges. I approach my work with compassion, collaboration, and a desire to help others experience both emotional healing and spiritual growth. Therapeutic Approach My approach to therapy is practical, collaborative, and rooted in evidence-based practices. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing (MI), integrating these with biblical principles to support the whole person—mind, body, and spirit. I believe in empowering my clients to develop tools that help them solve real-life problems, make meaningful changes, and grow through life’s challenges. Healing, to me, is a shared journey—guided by grace and grounded in the belief that lasting growth happens through connection, courage, and faith.
