Hi, I’m Karina, a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist. I became a therapist because I believe people deserve a space where they feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I see therapy as an opportunity to better understand ourselves, our relationships, and the experiences that have shaped the way we move through the world. I work with children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship difficulties, grief, life transitions, emotional regulation challenges, and struggles with identity and self-worth. I’m particularly passionate about helping clients explore attachment, relationships, and the ways our past experiences can influence how we see ourselves and interact with the people around us. My work draws from Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), attachment-based approaches, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), family systems perspectives, and Constructed Awareness. I especially value Constructed Awareness because it offers a creative and accessible way to explore how our experiences. I tailor therapy to each client, meeting you where you are and finding approaches that feel meaningful and useful for you. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you can slow down, make sense of what you’re experiencing, and develop a deeper understanding of yourself.
