I believe therapy is most effective when it combines insight with practical action. My approach is direct, collaborative, and solution-focused. I strive to create an environment where clients can openly examine challenges, gain a deeper understanding of themselves, and develop meaningful strategies for change. Therapy should provide more than a space to discuss problems—it should help you identify patterns, build on your strengths, and create lasting improvements in your daily life. I utilize evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, neurofeedback, family systems therapy, and cognitive behavioral interventions, tailoring treatment to each client's unique goals and needs. My areas of specialization include working with professionals experiencing anxiety, burnout, compassion fatigue, and chronic stress. Many of my clients are therapists, educators, healthcare professionals, first responders, and other helping professionals seeking to restore balance, reconnect with their values, and find greater satisfaction in both their personal and professional lives. I also specialize in the treatment of substance use disorders and in supporting spouses, partners, and family members affected by addiction. Additional areas of focus include parent coaching and parent training for families navigating behavioral, emotional, academic, and neurodevelopmental challenges, including ADHD, autism, and other forms of neurodivergence. I work with individuals healing from trauma and difficult life experiences, as well as couples and families seeking to improve communication, strengthen relationships, and successfully navigate life transitions. I hold a Master of Science in Marriage, Family and Child Therapy and a Master of Education. My professional experience includes addiction treatment, child welfare and family reunification services, foster care, psychiatric settings, skilled nursing facilities, and education. This diverse background has provided me with extensive experience supporting individuals and families across the lifespan and has shaped my practical, systems-oriented approach to treatment.
