I believe every child has unique strengths and the capacity to grow, heal, and thrive when given the right support. My passion is helping children and families navigate life's challenges while building confidence, resilience, and stronger connections with one another. As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, I have experience providing therapy in community mental health, school-based settings, and private practice. I work with children, adolescents, and families facing concerns such as anxiety, ADHD, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, attachment challenges, and family conflict. I am currently pursuing certification as a Registered Play Therapist because I believe play is a child's natural language. Through play, children can express emotions, process difficult experiences, develop coping skills, and discover their own strengths in ways that feel safe and meaningful. My approach is grounded in Child-Centered Play Therapy and incorporates Experiential, Narrative, Adlerian, Solution-Focused, and Sandtray Therapy techniques. I strive to understand the story behind a child's behavior and work collaboratively with families to create lasting, meaningful change. At Brave Little Minds, my goal is to provide a warm, supportive space where children feel seen, heard, and valued. Together, we can help your child develop the courage, confidence, and skills they need to navigate life's challenges and flourish. Beyond the Therapy Room When I'm not in the therapy office, you'll likely find me spending time with my husband and son, exploring the outdoors, enjoying a great cup of coffee, or planning our next family adventure. I have a passion for visiting our nation's beautiful National Parks and am on a mission to experience as many as possible. These adventures continually remind me of the importance of curiosity, connection, resilience, and growth—values that inspire both my personal life and my work with children and families.
